What Trysee does
Trysee is a browser extension that shows you wearing clothing from online stores. It uses your camera and an AI service to generate the result.
Data we handle
- Camera frames. Your camera preview runs only while the fitting-room panel is open and is never recorded. A single frame is captured only when you start a try-on. That frame and the product image you chose are sent to our server, which forwards them to our AI provider (Decart) to generate the try-on image. We do not store these images on our servers. The generated image is returned to you and not kept.
- Last captured frame, in your browser. The extension keeps your most recent frame in your browser's local extension storage as a fallback when the camera is unavailable. It is not uploaded until you start a try-on. Uninstalling the extension deletes it.
- Account details. If you create an account we store your email address, your name (optional) and a securely hashed password (handled by our sign-in provider, Supabase). We use them to sign you in on any browser, keep your passes and purchases with you, and pre-fill your receipt at checkout.
- Identifier and pass balance. A random install ID for each browser (before you sign in), your remaining passes and your purchase records, so we can apply credits and prevent abuse. When you sign in, this browser's passes are moved into your account.
- IP address. Stored with the install record to limit free-pass abuse and for rate limiting.
- Payments. Handled by our payment processor. We never see your card details; we receive confirmation of payment and a customer reference.
- Product images. The extension reads images from the page only when you drag one to the fitting room or click "Try with Trysee" on it. It does not read or transmit your browsing history or page content.
Who receives data
Our AI provider (Decart) processes the images to generate results, under its own terms and retention policy. Our payment processor handles payments. We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising or to determine creditworthiness.
Your choices
You can turn the extension off from its popup, close the fitting room to switch the camera off, revoke camera permission in Chrome settings, or uninstall it. To delete your account and the data stored with it, email us at skandbuilds@gmail.com from the address on the account.
Children
Trysee is not intended for people under 16.
